When she was 12 yrs old, she started the ninja school in Konoha(Leaf village). She always wanted to be the 5th Hokage, but Naruto was her rival. But later in the enmity is a stonge friendship. Naruto is her best friend! And Naruto's best friend is Nanami too. They always were together and they always hold to one another. Nanami fought with Sasuke on the Chunnin test, and Sasuke won nearly but when he used the Chidori when Nanami allowed it and Sasuke inflicted a wound upon her sorely. Nanami dropped. Sasuke won, but Orochimaru attacked the village. Sasuke apalled and he took Nanami and run away with her. (Sasuke only friend was Shou Jin but he never loved her, better as a friend, not lover. Sasuke only always nice to Jin. But Sasuke fall in love with Nanami. Nanami jelaous for her best friend, Jin, bcz Sasuke only nice to her. ) .... Nanami ralliesed and Sasuke hugged her. Nanami surprised. And He admited his own feelings to her. That he loves her and he always wanted stay with her. etc.... Nanami cried and before she has said her own feelings someone hit her and she plummeted on the tree, and she had injured. Sasuke didn't want to go with the soundfourth but he had to go.
